Learn Azure - #1 Introduction to cloud

Prior to cloud, we used to

  • Buy servers
  • If traffic increases, buy more servers
  • Monitor and maintain servers

Which had many disadvantages, to name a few

  • Setup was expensive
  • More efforts on infrastructure problems, tend to loose focus on business goals
  • Severs used to stay idle for most of the time
  • Lack of space to store huge digital data

What is cloud?

A huge space or collection of data centers, where you can rent resources/services through network.
we can rent the servers, compute capacities, storage places, compute service etc, the team behind cloud take care of all your related issues like security, infrastructure problems which will help us to focus simply on business goals.

What is cloud computing?
